Admission Criteria

Generic Entry

Diploma Programmes

MSCE with four (4) credit passes including English (Arts Programme) and English plus Mathematics (Science Programmes)

Bachelor Degree Programmes

MSCE with Six (6) credit passes including English (Arts Programmes) and English plus Mathematics (Science Programmes)

Bridging Programme

Candidates who do not satisfy admission requirements for Degree or Diploma programmes can join the university through a bridging programme. Applicants into the bridging programme must have a minimum of three (3) credits passes at MSCE. Candidates under this programme will only proceed into diploma or degree programmes upon passing all the modules.

Mature Entry

Diploma/Advanced Diploma and an MSCE Certificate with passes in English (Arts Programme) and English and Mathematics (Science Programmes)

Education Term Programme 

Diploma Arts:

• A MSCE with credit passes in English and any Three (3) Art subjects.

• T2 Teaching Certificate plus an MSCE with credit passes in English and any two (2) Arts subject. (History, Geography, Social Studies, Life Skills, Social Studies, Bible Knowledge or any relevant subject)

Diploma Science:

•A MSCE with credit passes in English, Mathematics and any two (2) Science subjects.

•T2 Teaching Certificate with MSCE credit passes in English, Mathematics and any one (1) Science subject. (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture or any relevant subject)

 

Those with IGCSE and GCE O-Levels should use the following interpretation: (with at least ‘C’ grade): A*=1; A=2; B=3; C=5; D and E=7; F and G=8; O=9: GCE O-level results: A=1; B = 3: C = 5; D = 7; E = 8.
